They provide information, educational literature and hold meetings around a variety of issues surrounding a cancer diagnosis or specific cancers. The Woodroffe School PTFA raises much needed funds to support important key projects for the school.

Ways to Donate: Collection buckets at Meet Up or use the fundraising link

Small Print: Not happy with an image, no problem! We’ll arrange another photo session for your fabulous dog. Funds raised will be split 50/50 between the two good causes. Dogs must be kept on leads and don’t forget to bag it and bin it.

A fabulous £145 raised to date for Ryan Eddowes!
Support Ryan by donating to the Steps Worldwide Charity link here

£145 was raised by the proactive Lyme Regis Loving Dog Owners, Visitors & Friends Facebook Group who undertook a Fundraising Spring Walk on the Sandy Beach on 30 April 2022. The Group raised funds for Ryan Eddowes, born with clubfeet, ahead of his painful 95 miles along the Jurassic Coast starting at the end of May, stopping at Lyme Regis, in support of Steps Worldwide Charity who support lower limb conditions. As well as raising funds for Steps Worldwide Charity Ryan is also raising awareness of both clubfoot and highlighting hidden disabilities like clubfoot.

Details about the event that took place on 30 April 2022.

WALK: Come and join an informal dog walk meeting up with fellow dog owners and friends. It’s good to know Assistance Dogs are permitted off lead at all times, please take your proof with you to avoid being challenged.

DONATION: If able, we are asking for a small donation toward’s Ryan Eddowes fundraising campaign for STEPS Charity. This charity is very close to my heart as our son, who’s just undergone a 5 1/2hr operation to help him walk who, like Ryan, was born with a severe clubfoot. The fundraising link is here.

HIDDEN DISABILITIES: Ryan is also raising awareness of hidden disabilities like clubfoot, so any donation would be appreciated.

WHERE: Lyme Regis Front Sandy Beach, Marine Parade in front of the extremely dog friendly SWIM. Nearest car parks are Monmonth Car Park and Broad Street Car Park.

HOUSEKEEPING: We ask that you only leave paw prints in the sand and remember its dogs on leads. This is your opportunity to catch up with fellow dog owners for the last time till restrictions end on 30th September. Please remember to bring your poo bags and pick up and bin it. I’m hoping maybe Helen’s Litter Group might also join the Walk to highlight responsible dog ownership. We hope you enjoy this fundraising informal walk.
